what kind of amp should i get for electric banjo
    #16455499 -

So i just got a pickup for my banjo and now im wondering what kind of amp i should get for it. Right now im just using my friends shitty little first line or something like that. I dont want to spend a ton of money though. I don't know anything about electric music stuff so help is much appreciated

I would recommend something like an acoustic amp to help capture some of the 'tone' of the banjo. Maybe get a small multi-fx pedal for sweetening the sound

interesting. i don't need it to be that loud but i would like if it got loud enough for small shows.

a fender acoustisonic may be ok as well, or a frontman 212R on the clean channels.  id say go to a shop with your banjos and try a few out.

i ended up getting an acoustic (thats the brand) AG15. It sounds incredible, i would recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap but quality acoustic amp.
