I'm not very hip, you probably heard this stuff a million times. But I been listening to Drukqs lately, it has a lot of hectic breakcore-ish tracks I guess. :shrug:

haha, yeah well i grew up in kenya so was outta tha loop for a while. lol

got windowlicker and Richard D James albums on my itunes and have actually not listened to em before!

doing so now, good tuneage!

I enjoy the ol' amen break, especially over ambient tracks. I think that's why I like lots of songs on Drukqs. He does a lot of jungly beats, but on the glitchier side. That's basically what people call "breakcore" these days, as I understand it. :shrug:

But I like RDJ in general anyway, dude's a prodigy.

which of his albums blow you away in particular, guy is a genious....but then again most of the stuff i listen to is reaching genious level. haha in my opinion anyway

I only got 2 of his albums. The Hungarian classical music one, with the birds on the cover. Not even gonna try to type the name (lol). And Detrimentalist, which is cool too:

I like this one, it's pretty sweet when it gets to 2:00 mark.

Christ, I just realized again how crazy Venetian Snares is. It makes Drukqs seem soft. That's almost as close to noise as you can get in electronic music, while having it sound good. I think your typical Skrillex listener would have a god damned stroke. :lol:
