Why won't they pin!? + Aerial mycelium

Hey hey. I know a kid who had two WBS cakes (i know your not supposed to fruit as cakes but he did anyways) and 1 PF cake that he is trying to fruit. He placed the cakes in his terratium 10 days ago. His terrarium has been a constant 97% RH (perlite/water TEK), the temperature is around 80f in the day and 70f in the night. He has been fanning the cakes once or twice a day with a muffin fan for approximately 1 or two minutes per fanning. The muffin fan is probably capable of doinbg 1 air exchange in a few seconds. The cakes have been getting about 12-16 hours of light a day (as suggested by stamets). Why won't they pin? They all are just sitting there.... one cake has a teeny bit of bruising, probably from previous sprayings or picture taking.
The other part is... one of the cakes has lumpy semi yellow stuff on it. My friend really doubts that its a contam, because it is the same color as the surrounding mycelium, and has grown in the same way as mycelium, just has a yellow tint. It started as ropy strands when i put the cake in the terrarium and then solidified sort of into blobs... I am guessing this is aerial mycelium. So... Why isn't my shit pinning? Does it just need more time? Its Lipa Yai cubs which are supposed to be easy to pin! HELP!

humidity would be my guess....
did u dunk the cakes prior to puttin in chamber?

How could humidity that high be wrong? Or is that the problem? I heard with cakes that you want like... around 95% or so, and especially with WBS cakes because they don't hold the water that PF cakes do. I dunked the PF cake about... a week after i put it in the chamber when it started to look a little ... decprepid. I didn't dunk the WBS cakes, I don't think they would absorb shit because there isn't any verm in them.

The asshole down the street says his first time his cakes didnt pin for almost 4 weeks, so he cased them. 3 weeks later they finally pinned. Worth the wait, 5 cakes made him almost 30 dry grams

Holy shit. 4 weeks?! wow. I guess my friend better start casing them in a few weeks or something. He needs some more cakes to case anyways because he only has... 3 cakes of a 4oz size because he started with the wrong jars. They are mini cakes. One of the cakes is starting to get blue, which is bad sign.
