numb tongue from earwax?

The past few hours I've had a numb tingling tongue which basically feels like novacaine from the dentist. The only thing I can tell what it's from would be smoking weed earwax? Anyone ever hear of that? It's dark green,smells and tastes fine, and fucking rocked me. I've read though that with poor methods solvent residue can stay in the product?

I also ate about 2.5g of shroom chocolate but this came on well into the comedown.

and don't tell me I'm just too high because I'm not dreaming shit up. Been smoking forever and never had this feeling.

Nah swear to god. I'm basically sober right now and still feel it a bit. It has to be something with this concentrate right? Only explanation I can see. Unless some type of reaction to the shrooms? Fucking weird.

Oh and "wax" is just a form of comcentrate. I've had oils and stuff before but this never happened.

Alright I know it sounds nuts but I can assure you I'm not dreaming. About 5 min after my first hit of wax I felt it. Not quite fully numb. You know the sensation when you get a really weak bee sting? Kind of like that.

And I'm not questioning if wax in general does this. I have a feeling some solvent residue remained in the wax and when smoked could've coated my tongue. I smoked a ton of it. Is that possible if it's impure? I've read though that if it is done poorly you can smell the solvent in the product and this doesn't smell. This is dark green too and I've seen stuff saying that's generally not the best.

Fuck off if you think I'm trolling or something. Not the end of the world but it's fucking bizarre to me so thought if ask

Also, earwax degrades faster than oil so if you type of dude that buys like half a gram or half of a half of a gram and try to keep it as long as possible.. .you can be damn sure its significantly less potent than it was, and also that could give you maybe a problem.. .assuming you didn't make ityour self.

Options? Make your own damn oil. Or get the each from a good club.. if you are a patient. Or make it your self.

And don't turn the oil to wax. Its like adding Coke or pepsi to a king Georgexiii scotch. Just smh status

The smoke from some purple strains & heavy indicas will lay a numb/tingling sensation upon my tongue & palate when smoked in a joint or a blunt. It doesn't last too long though.

Thank you for a reasonable answer. I'll do a few more knife hits tonight and see if it happens again. I'll have a friend smoke some too and see if he feels it. I got this from a new source so definitely could just be really impure/poorly made. Shame if that's the case, because as low quality as it may be, it got me higher than I've been in a long time. I'm at work still slightly stoned. I know I'm not actually stoned, but the hangover is strong enough I feel like I am.

For what it's worth,
I've stuck a bit of bho behind my front teeth to enjoy the aroma all day
and it causes a similar numbness in the tongue.
