first hunt in a while

ok.....so i'm going hunting for the first time in close to  ten years tonight so wish me luck. i'm gonna need it since area 1 and area 2 are an hour away from me in different directions. :crazy:  I should get to the first place around 3:30 and the other by sunrise. hopefully the second area wont be necesary to go to! :wink:

Don't get caught trespassing by any farmers or cops... Or cows for that matter! :crazy:

so i just got back and all for nothing. found 2 ccubes but the caps were the about the size of a dime. left them alone as they seemed too young. found another unidentified that was all white so i left it alone. Figures too cause that one was big.

so yeah, now i got some sleep so i'll type a little more. lol. Next time i'm gonna bring a flashlight with me cause contrary to what i read, personally, I can't see nothing out there at night. heres a few questions regarding my hunt.
When i got to the feld that i found some in, it was a little after 9am. Does anyone think that this is a little too late? Did they all shrivel to nothing due to the sun coming up?
Also, i wont bother asking where to go publicly but how about this. When you guys say high grass, how high should it be? knee high or just like 5 inches or so? I'm really tring and getting discouraged. I neeed some help from you experts!

Night time is a good time to get shot prowing around on someones property inthe dark with a flashlight. makes for great target practive.
