Yeah I have got all sorts of incriminatng photos to places to get them developed. It's not like they will probably even know what kind they are unless they are a shroomer themselves :wink: They are legal here in FL anyway, they can't prove that I know they are psychadelic mushrooms just from a pic.

Nice work Scooby.

Here is a short quote from my new copy of the book "Common Florida Mushrooms" by James Kimbrough;

"There are two extremely dry seasons along most of the Florida peninsula, March to June and late September to early November."

So, it is in accordance with the seasonal changes that the mushrooms decide to grow and that is also when most of the mushrooms are hunted and found.

Many people just are not patient enough to wait for the mushrooms to be found during the right times.

Keep shroomin,
GGreatOne234

i agree with that although found lots of cubes in march.i would say more like late march to early june. by late june i have found a lot of mushrooms in the past.

i am going to wait until many other species begin fruiting before i go look for subs or cubes. also, this past two or three weeks has not been very dry for most of florida, especially the north. although it seems all of florida has seen rain lately except for the tampa bay area. there is luck.

last year i didnt find many mushrooms during the winter season and they really started disappearing in late september and the continued to fruit in low numbers until about march-april, when there were period when there were NO mushrooms anywhere. they have seemed to re-emerge in the last two or three weeks , yet in small numbers.

You found mushrooms in March in the Tampa area?  I find that kind of hard to believe.  March is extreamly dry there and isn't known to produce shrooms usually at all.

And to the guy with the digital camera that won't post pictures..  c'mon, you can't find the USB slot on the back of your computer?  And you're going to use a regular camera, get the pictures developed and scan them??  when you could just hook a USB cord to the back of your computer, and they're there?  That sounds like a lot of trouble for no reason..  anyway, I will look forward to seeing your pictures.  :smile:

Happy Hunting

Um, I could hook my digital camera up to my computer if I had a USB cable...I can't find the cable and thats why I can't use my digital camera...plus I'm better at using the scanner than trying to upload pictures off of my digital camera lol. Also, I'm not a guy, I'm a girl :wink:

Yep, I'm a girl but I loooove shrooms! I'll post those pics for scientific research only (ofcourse) as soon as I get them developed. On another note, I ate the shrooms yesterday when I went to Bush Gardens but they weren't enough to trip. I just felt sort of high for the whole day which is always a good time. I just wished the whole time that I had about an 8th more. lol.

thank you, thank you.

That's a very abnormal spring then, that's cool though.

As far as the digital camera goes, why not just buy another USB from Radio Shack, they're only like 4 or $5. Hell of a lot easier than messin around getting the pictures developed and scanned, plus the quality with the digital and USB is like a million times better.

I should get one and probably will pretty soon. Doesn't matter for these though because I ate them already. lol...should have waited until I had more though.
