I was thinking about trying to be the Fun Guy there this November, cuz I just moved to Port Saint Lucie and I've never been to a Florida fest.

Yeah i figured she was selling bunk but i was gonna try it first before i called her out on it.
Bearcreek is a great festival though, lots of good vibes. Usually all the die hards go because its like the last festie of the year.
Gotta be careful though, there is UC walking around. As long as you aren't working though you should be fine.
I suggest hitting up the suwanee park though, very beautiful place for festivals. Ill be back this November for Bearcreek.

Dude Live Oak is my home. Suwanee park is beautiful. Everytime I go to a festival there I rent a golf cart and camp next to the "beach" on top of this dope ass cliff. The park is so big you won't able to experience all the after parties and meet as many people without renting a golf cart for the weekend.

Purple Hatters Ball is the next fest which is in 2 weeks, Wanee just went down 2 weeks ago. They might have Blackwater again this year but I heard rumors that they may not. Bearcreek is a good festival though, I went in 2010,

hence :

definitely come out to suwanee and go to the festivals, wanee (fall) - backwater - bear creek - purple hatters ball - wanee (spring), you'll have a good time. Ive never seen narcs but I've heard of people getting roped there. Like i said the place is huge

Yes be careful, my buddy just got popped at last Magfest and is facing 15 yrs in prison.
Just dont sell shit and you will be fine.

The golf carts are fun though. At Bearcreek i met this dude and we both got drunk on some shine. He had a golfcart and we wanted to go to the general store to get beer. He drove the cart while i was the passenger. He went to park the cart where they store all the golfcarts and he crashed the cart into one of the buildings. He hit the steering wheel and i was ejected from the cart. Im pretty sure he damaged something because i heard some gnarly noises. We both ran away.

How often do shroomerites meet up at these things? I'd love to share my wares with some good people, but chances of me knowing many people on the Florida scene is pretty slim. I wish I could go to all the Live Oak shows, but probably the earliest one I'll be able to make is the October one. Broke ass and all.

Yeah i forgot to mention magfest, my room mates worked that festival for a food vendor. Im not really into that music so I always forget about it/never go.

Yeah i got hooked up with the golf cart with the big old $2 bill stickered onto it :lol:

it was pretty funny too cause i was the delivery man (lucky i didn't get caught) driving to and from camp sites selling molls and lucy and day long. Had a generator subwoofer boom box chained to it also so i was blasting music everywhere i went. I also had 40 pounds of meddy nos in my car. Now that I know that the narcs are heavy i won't be doing all that crazy mess again. I was die hard back then i guess

another time at purple hatters ball last year my room mate slammed on the brakes and ejected his girlfriend from the passenger seat, luckily she caught herself after about 20 strides and summersaulted without face planting or anything too bad

Yeah i saw some bitchen golfcarts last year adorned with all kinds of glowsticks and sound systems. Ive never seen a golfcart that could bump harder than my car :lol:

I've never met a shroomerite at Suwanee (that i know of)
I did meet Cactusdan (moderator) at a festival they held a few years back called "Harvest of Hope", i walked right past him and recognized his face from pics of pubbers so i hollered out his username and sure enough he turned back and looked around in confusion and saw me waving, good times

I've met other shroomerites randomly at festivals too (far from home) such as yogabunny and OMR

Last year at Electric Forest we were walking back to our campsite, on lots of LSD, when this wild-eyed guy with a head-lamp comes running up to us yelling

I was totally confused and had no idea what was going on. I thought maybe this guy was fucking with us, but turns out he was for real. We grabbed a needle, thread, and first-aid kit out of the jeep, and followed this guy back to his campsite. The guy in trouble was leaning against his truck moaning in pain, clutching his testicles. I asked how the hell did something like this happen? He was in too much pain to talk, but his friend said he was having too much fun with himself, and things got out of hand. I wanted no more part in it, so I left them to it. I'll never forget that scene of watching an intoxicated guy with a head-lamp leaning in to try and sew his friend's crotch back together, while tripping on LSD.

So yeah.. you could probably add "the guy who has too much fun with himself, and rips his nuts open" to this list.

The only thing I can think of is that this dude was completely out of his mind on drugs (probably stimulants, "bath salts" etc) and maybe was jacking off in a frenzy, who knows. Or maybe it was just a freak accident. I was kind of concerned, and asked if they wanted me to call and ambulance. Dude was like "NO!!! NO COPS" and his friend assured me, "I got this." I was like "Are you a doctor or something?" and he just looked at me and said "Nahh.. but I know what I'm doing. It's OK bro, thanks."

It left me utterly bewildered to say the least. After we left, I never heard anything more about it.
