Proxies explanation 5$

I'm using a Macbook Pro  and I would like to set my computer up with a few proxies. Ive read lots about them, I aint THAT lazy ! managed to set on up on my old computer but I always had problems with it. Anyways.

Yes. I would like to set my laptop up with a few of them. 2-3 proxies will keep you pretty safe right ? If anyone can be really helpful and lay out what I need to do to set these up I will paypal you 5 big ones. Oh and also 5 shrooms for you :thumbup: But ya gotta help me along the way and make sure I'm not pulling my hair out in frustration. Computers can kick my ass sometimes :smile: The offer is only up for the most helpful person. Uno.

Version 10.6.8.
Processor 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
(not sure if that even matters)

google "tor" and download the tor browser. if you are really paranoid download Tails from the tor project website and run that.

also just really quick "proxies" don't necessarily keep you safe. you can use proxies out the ass and still be open to appication-layer attacks.

just download and install tor and it will probably be enough for whatever you are doing. and if its not, the fact that you asked this question means you are already fucked...

Yeah, what he said. Use Tor and private browsing sessions.

Most online proxies aren't truly private so if you do something that pisses off the US government then then all it takes is a subpoena for them to get your details.
