Light recommendations anyone?

I wanted to get a feel for how much light you all are using for growing. I've seen teks recommending 16 hours, and I've seen some recommending only 4.

I am using a curing blue florescent light. Is 4 hrs enough? Is 16 too much? Can too much light stunt growth?

Let me know what oppinions are out there. Thanks!

Is it better to evenly space out the time light is on and off, or to do it all in one chunk? I was thinking of keeping the light on for 1 hour every 3 hours for a total of 8 hours in the day. Anyone have input on this? Thanks.

it's been shown lighting really makes no difference 10 minutes aday or 20 hours
