Wel, I was living with my grandmother for a while and she ended up writing a month to month lease for me and moving out to her own place in another state. A few months later she returns , obviously out of her mind (she has extreme memory issues)claiming I forged the lease and I have no right to be there an she's wants me out. Granted I never paid her rent. But I did pay all the bills. We agreed that I would stay until December , in order to get my child back who was taken by ACS , but she liked me out in November , destroying any chance I had I reclaiming my child , which is now forever lost to foster parents , due to missed appointments because of newly created transportation problems. Anyway , she thought she was too good to get an eviction notice , and still has yet to get one. She started grabbing brooms and pipes and beating me with them trying to physically throw me out. I called the cops the first time and they told her she needs to get an eviction notice or shut up. I ended up leaving the second time she went nuts and had to move out of town , leaving behind many job opportunities and in the process beig forced into the homeless shelter system.
Is there a way I can take her to court? And I so how an what do I do to start this process? The only info I've found online says to get a lawyer. I can't afford one though I'm pretty sure , as I am jobless at the moment , still trying to reestablish a semi permanent address at least.
I have no clue about these kinds of matters , so I just thought I'd give it a hot here as see if anyone knows how this process works. Thanks mates
