Nose Bleed...Don't Read If You are easily grossed out...

I have had a problem with a nose infection for over 6 years.  it seems to be an autoimmune/immune system problem caused by liver disease.

I have been having terrible headaches, and bleeding, a lot of black stuff coming out of my left sinus.  It has been plugged. 

I just blew the plug out, tons of thick blood came out of the sinus, and it had big gobs or rubbery black shit in it.  Fuck.  evertime I tell doctors about this they are clueless. But now my headache is gone and I can breathe.  I could post pics, but I dont want anyone to get sick.

They did an MRI...nothing there.  I blew a fungus ball out of it once, the doctor didn't believe me.  Been to 5 doctors, including 2 ENT's.

More like it is somekind of invasive mold/fungal infection.

Lol this sounds ridiculous, maybe you'll end up on one of those medical mystery shows one day..

But if this were me I'd be a bit worried, is there any pain other than the headaches while you have this bloody "fungal" buildup? Any other symptoms?

Kidding aside, sinus allergies? This could continually lead to a sinus infection.

Regardless, I would try nasal irrigation with hydrogen peroxide.

yes, i think that might be right.  Some kind of allergic/autoimmune reaction.  My mom had horrible sinus trouble for months, they gave her steroids and strong anti-biotics for threee weeks, it finally cleared up. 

I'm definitely going to need some dilaudid, demerol, or oxy for the headaches.  They are that bad.  :grin:

Man, that sounds aweful. I would go to the ER immediately if it was me. I think I would be pretty upset if a mess like that came out of my nose. I hope you get better.

The headaches are probably caused by inflamation/swelling. Could be nasal polyps.

Ask for nasonex. I had similar problems from infections caused by constant congestion caused by polyps caused by allergies. Nasonex cured all that shit right up and I can breathe freely...

Yea, a long time ago, with sinus problems, they gave me something called fusinex or somethng, it helped a lot.  Now though, it just got bad again.  It comes and goes.

I wonder what drug I will get for severe, migraine like headache pain.... :grin:

when it is really bad, it is a real 10.  I mean an emergency room 10.  It's been running 5~8 today

This is the first time it has been this bad in a while.  Normal attacks are for a few days every 2 or 3 weeks.  I have had bad head pain before, several years ago.  But usually when the left sinus becomes severly congested.  The problem is, I have never been to the doctor when it is presenting this badly, by the time I go it is receding.
