nothing has changed about the policy, its just more simplified, each service still has its individual policy, but this new one is more of a broadened one, so that when you use a google service online you only have to sign one agreement for all the services rather than 20 of them.

google is not out to destroy your livelihood as much as you think they are. and yeah google is homebased out of the country for a good reason, cause they do not respect american policies and taxes.

And so what if they do? :shrug: Any company uses the information and the brainpower it has to its disposal. It only stands to reason that Google does the same. And since they are a highly visible company, you can trust they are careful to stay within the legal boundaries that have been defined, even if they will also undoubtedly explore those boundaries at the same time.
