ultrasonic humidifier

my cats have been using tap water for the ultrasonic humidifier in their little tent, of course calcium deposits...well water, and i was wondering if running some vinegar in that bad bitch would work to clean it out?

the calcium deposits have built up under the ultrasonic plate inhibiting the operation, i believe. the calcium has also built up around the plate and soaking it in vinegar removed that, but still the humidifier is not working at 100%. Robviously they wont run it in the tent with the vinegar. does ultrasonic do something to the acetic acid?

yeah as a computer i'm worried about acetic acid in an ultrasonic? what is this mycotopia?!?

i was curious if ultrasonic did anything to acetic acid because i'm  not a retard and know what electroplating is.

dont take it like that man. whats your concern? that the vinegar will eat away at the electroplated metals? i really have no idea you would probably have to look it up in the manual, or if you dont have it then try to find one online. or in a humidifier message board lol
