Morning Glory LSA extraction procedure questions

Hello
I would just like someone who is experienced with LSA extraction to review the following extraction procedure. 

Need
-99.5% toluene
-70% ethanol (or stronger if you can get your hands on it) or 99.9% isopropyl alcohol 
-coffee grinder
-sealable, glass jars
-funnel and filter paper
-morning glory seeds (of course)
-paper plates
-large tray with smooth edges 


1) grind morning glory seeds (not too fine, not too coarse)
2) mix morning glory seeds with toluene in a glass jar.  close glass jar.  shake jar occasionally over the next 3 days (is this the right time period?)
3) filter out the crushed morning glory seeds
4) put seeds evenly on paper plates and let them dry out over 24 hours
5) add crushed seed powder to a jar with 99.9% isopropyl alcohol (if you do not plan on drinking it) or ethanol (if you want choice)
6) stir occasionally, keep in jar for 2 days (is this the right time period?
7) filter out all the seeds
8) if your solution is an ethanol mixture, you may drink it. if you do not want to drink it continue below

9) pour your alcohol mixture in a tray
10) leave tray in a dark room and allow all alcohol to evaporate
11) scrape off all of the morning glory LSA honey

this is what you want
you can repeat the process if you want to purify it more

12) add all of the honey to a small amount of toluene
13) mix it for 1 day
14) filter, discard toluene
15) let the filterate dry out completely (wait 24 hours to be sure)
16) add it again to alcohol
17) stir / mix for 1 day
18) pour into clean tray, let alcohol evaporate in dark room
19) you should be left with a more powdery batch then what you initially had
20) add the powder to gel caps, whatever you want, and enjoy

if you have a brown powder, your extraction went well
if you want to purify it more, please look up the appropriate acid/base reactions to get a white LSA powder

I need confirmation on 1) whether these steps will work, 2) what do you use, isopropyl alcohol or ethanol? 3) are the time period for all the steps correct?

Ergine is probably only moderately polar so you risk loosing some to the organic solvent if you discard the solvent without first extracting the solved LSA with water.

I use a fairly similar procedure for rivea corymbosa seeds, I have a crude extraction recipe in my sig.

how would I add your steps so I don't lose the ergine to the toluene?
would you simply add the water to toluene and then remove the water with a syringe, and separately, have the water evaporate in a tray while you continue with your extraction procedure as listed above (filter seeds, add to alcohol, etc)
and there should be some lsa left once the water has evaporated which I can add to my batch?

Toluene isn't a very good solvent for this use in my opinion, it has high boiling point and is an effective solvent for aromatic compounds.
Diethyl ether has a low boiling point and is a reasonably clean solvent to use, petroleum ether works as well though its definitely not healthy to use in the long run (then again, what is? :-P)

I'm going to test how much ergine the nonpolar solvent absorbs when I have time for it. All the extraction methods I have seen for ergine has been too crude in my opinion. Until I have seen proof that ergine isn't absorbed by non polar solvent I'm not going to discard the solvent right away.

As for separating, a rubber tube or syringe works, the best way to evaporate the water would be with a vacuum pump. I dont know how fast ergine degrade when you evaporate the water, though it should probably work with a tray on low heat.
