What do Morning Glory Seeds do to you?

I have been told that eating morning glory seeds will get you high, but what kind of high? Shroom high? Do u trip out?

A friend of mine told me that he had heard that they make u trip, so he ate some and he got really sick....hmmmm....

They contain LSA a precurser to LSD, if you eat them they can produce feelings of hallucinations. They can also make you sick especially treated seeds, but even untreated seeds have wreaked havoc on virgin stomachs.

shrooms are better in my opinon. morning glories are better to me than BHWS.......

untreated morning glory seeds when simply chewed and swallowed give me a body load similar to the worst effects of acid, shrooms, and mescaline combined (ie. lysergic cramps/tension, vertigo/gastrointestinal distress, and serious nausea). i almost always puke for over an hour once they start to kick in. however, i like the trip itself almost as much as acid, which is my favourite drug. the seeds provide an incredible, infinite expansiveness to perception and a connection to nature that is rivalled only by mushroom tripping. i often feel intimately connected to trees, and that they each have their own personality. mg seeds give serious insights much like lsd does, but there isnt usually the out of control feeling that can sometimes occur on shrooms. the peak only lasts for a few hours, but visual hallucinatory effects are often present during the entire peak and sometimes even increase towards the end of the trip (unlike on shrooms). also the cool minor trip effects often last even longer than acid's. i think the seeds are worth trying plain for the first few times (just chew a few packages into a paste and swallow). once you have endured eating seeds and puking a few times, you will have some respect for this powerful drug and an idea of how much to take. of course one can always prevent most of the unpleasant effects through extraction. read on erowid.org about how to do this (there are easy ways and hard ways).

how many grams did you consume? i ate 3 grams a few nights ago and got some naeusa but didnt puke, but also didnt really trip. higher dosage would have done more of both

although you probably won't take my advice and forget about the MG seeds, i'll just tell you in advance that its a waste of time. sure you might want to try it since its only $5, but you'll just end up puking, having a bad stomach ache, or if you actually keep it down you might feel like you took some pain killers. i don't find that a simple extraction of lsa and especially just eating the seeds to be very psychadelic at all. just my 2 cents..
