Walgreens....

Ok here's the deal: i've been using 4-fma for a few days now (a g or more over the period). I got a call from walgreens this evening and they want me to call back and I assume will want to interview me. Does anyone know the procedure for drug testing? Do they give you xx hours to go to a testing clinic or what?

Also, I have a prescription (well did... its been 3 months) for dextroamphetamine. If i test positive from the 4-fma would it be for methamp or just amp? If methamp could pseudoephedrine be a reason for testing postive?

I've taken 10 or 20mg of dex 30 hrs before a test before and passed... so who knows.

Feel free to chime in on the job if you have worked for them before.

Think you have a day or two to go to a particular site to get tested. Generally the same day though, probably.

Not entirely certain as to how extensive the test is, but I would assume that it's more or less equivalent to 'at-home drug test' type methods, and that doing it at a clinic is basically to try to ensure it's a moderately more secured/controlled setting, so you may be alright. Granted, I have absolutely no idea if any of that is true, but that would be my best guess.

Not sure what area you are in or what part of the store you are applying to, but having worked in a number of retail pharmacies before, if you're trying to apply for a job in the pharmacy rather than storeside, your impression might make a huge difference on your chances. A lot of the busier and/or better pharmacies/pharmacy employees quickly get a pretty good sixth sense for recreational drug users.

Not that it matters too much really as far as that goes. It's not so much that anyone's trying to be a dick (for some reason many people think pharmacy employees are out to get them), but rather, we can't get busted either or we might suffer nasty consequences even if you get off scott free. DEA still comes down on our asses. More or less, if people're pleasant, we'll try to help or ignore shit, whereas if we're getting yelled/flipped out at, then fuck you.

If they already seem okay with you though, you probably don't have anything to worry about.

Just dilute. If it comes up dilute, that buys you enough time to clean up. If you do it right, it shouldn't show up dilute.

If they really want you for the job, I'd imagine they'd test you the very same day or the next day...

EDIT: On a NIDA 5, they test for "amphetamines." There is no difference between types. Your prescription for dex would be a fine cover for the 4-FMA...
