I can't help but agree with you guys that a lot of dubstep is shit, and skrillex does have some bad stuff. But he definitely has some good tracks, and there is definitely good dubstep/dub out there. I feel like most of the people that hate on it are just bandwagon haters.

Pretty Lights incorporates dubstep on a few tracks and makes it sound amazing. The rest becomes shit by comparison.

Skrillex isn't that bad, he probably doesn't deserve the acclaim he's got, and he's not the best at what he does (at all), but he's got some good songs too. I respect him for bringing some dubstep into the mainstream.

Check out Get Up (Korn collab), Narcissistic Cannibal (other Korn collab lol), Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites... Those are his best IMO

What he does is often a little too weird to be appreciable, but like I've said, it's not all bad if you're into electronic music, and he does have talent.

To be fair though, the artists that actually are sick wouldn't be able to come if not for the blow up of the electronic in general, which can be attributed to skrillex, pretty lights, and bassnectar.  So I suppose I am slightly thankful for their presence.  :awesome2:
