I know that sick feeling my friend.  Make sure you take some time to look after yourself... just look out for #1 right now.

Good vibes going your way! Your shroomery brothers & sisters stand with you.

There is always relationship counceling.

Maybe you can fix it? Maybe not. Only you know.

Good luck.

That doesn't sound too good, man. What went wrong? What was it that got the two of you caught in this negative spiral?

If you have kids with this person you should make it work if at all possible. You said you have both been bitchy. Could you be the bigger person more often?

I read your entire post twice. I saw past partners and a little bit of myself reading your words. Scary.

It seems like you know there is only one thing to do especially if you feel like it is truly over. I can't imagine staying in a situation like that. If it is over and you don't see it working out there's no reason to stay. There's no point in holding onto something that isn't there.

If you stay what is the incentive for her to really get back on her feet as quickly as possible? There isn't one.

For both of your sakes and the sake of your kid, you need to get away from this toxic situation and become healthy and whole again.

your post read like a novel! just kidding... you sound like a good man who tried his best to make things work with someone who has MAJOR issues... i couldn't imagine living under those conditions and i honestly don't know anybody who has... maybe her father refusing to reestablish a relationship with her had more to do with him knowing what she was rather then because of his own addictions... seriously, she has a serious personality disorder... counciling might work but she's so damn toxic i doubt it... it's too bad there is a child involved in all of this...

asking you to stick around till she finds a job and gets a license/car is another example of her selfishness... she knows you, better then you do i think and she's fucking playing on it... but you may have no choice, if you want her to be able to provide a somewhat normal living environment for your child... that is very important... and i feel sorry for your children because they ARE going to go through one hell of an experience growing up with her... if there wasn't a child involved in all of this, ooohhh my God, would i ever bail on her... you seem very cool and deserve better... all i can say is i'll say a prayer to the great spirit on your behalf this evening... i hope you can find PeaCe and eventually move on...

I stood up for myself.  And when I got tired of the nasty fights, I stopped sticking up for myself.  She'd run over me like a freight train.  And she still does.  I'm weak, pussy whipped and constantly being battered mentally by this woman.  .

:wtfsonic:

idk how we let this happen but it seems pretty common.
