Found this little corked antique bottle

It has some black goo in it and has to be a hundred years old.  My dad said its an old pharmaceutical bottle.  Opium maybe?  Not a strong odor.

I took a pin dipped it in the bottle,  put a lighter to the goo and watched it melt instantly.  No smell

It should smell floral, like natural incense.

And when you smoke it, it should taste just like it smells. Wonderful and amazing :yesnod:


I'm not saying you should go and smoke some unidentified tar though

It seriously smells like nothing?
I doubt opium would lose it's smell over time. Especially if it was contained in a jar.


If it is opium, and it seriously doesn't smell; then the opiates contained within have probably already degraded.

so i should find some unsuspecting  guinea pig is what your saying?  It could be so old that there is no smell?

I wouldn't recommend anyone to ingest such a thing.
Considering it's age, and the obscurity surrounding it; it would be foolish to assume it's contents.

Im smelling it but it just smells old.  A smell youd recognize but cant put your finger on, kind of similar to crayons

I know i was kidding.  I have an old drug test laying around, maybe i could mix a little with water and see if tests positive for opiates :shrug:

I considered doing just that before but i didnt like the idea of not knowing exactly what kind of dose you're getting.  I'll stick to the occasional pills

It's hard to smoke enough to OD, you would nod off long before it happened; eating it is what's risky.

I enjoy opium more than any other opiate I've tried. I've done a lot of them, but never :syringe:

Reminds me of a time this summer I was groundscoring at Electric Forest right after the Excision set and I found a reallyyyy small bag with black shit inside. We thought/hoped it was opium or some tar heroin, went back to our tent and smoked it. My friend's girlfriend was so fucking pissed off that we were smoking some mystery shit off the ground...

It was gross to smoke, tasted like shit, and did absolutely nothing.

Lol, at Electric Forest my buddy lost his bag with about $200 worth of molly and a good $150 worth of DMT. It fell out of his pocket. Some lucky person got a shit ton of shit.
