I don't think that's true IMO. Reality is more like a mirror but you're also a mirror too. When you have any inkling of bad intentions but on the surface it seems pure and good, your subconscious will still manifest the bad bits. You're still going to move with/against your surroundings. If the people around you have bad intentions then that'll give your own negativity prominence. Do a good thing with bad intent around good people and you just can't harm them. They see the good in it.
