So I Was Behind This Lady...

At a gas station and she purchased 238 dollars worth of lottery tickets. These were the 1 dollar tickets too that you wait for the drawing. So, It was an endless stream of paper ripe of a joke about degenerate gamblers.  After about 5-6 minutes of this, the machine ends and the price comes up.  Now she's reaching for her check book.  At that time I just lay the exact amount for my soda and leave.

i was behind some dude paying for drinks in change the other day. the lady thought he was counting them as he was giving them to her, he thought she was counting them. then they had to start all over. for 2 fucking red bulls...

i felt like doin the same thing. throwin down some real money and leaving cause i dont wanna put up with stupid people counting change.

Still kind of pisses me off to build up a long line over that kind of bullshit :shrug:

Besides, I usually have a shitload of work to do before I can leave, on top of dealing with customers. It's not uncommon for me to end up having to stay 10-10.5 hours at a time.

I hate paying with change, but getting paid every two weeks sucks, so i often find myself doing it.

I usually only pay for things I know the price of, and take an extra quarter in just in case.

I'll go in with change counted, and usually sort it while waiting for the person in front of me to check out.

And if theres already a line forming, ill hang back until the end just to be polite.

I feel like an ass with a jewbag. :/

I used to save all my change in a big jar and cash it out when it was full, now I do that with ones.

Well sure, then they can go make a phone call and complain and next thing I know corporate is calling to chew my ass out.

I pretty much have to be overly nice to everyone unless they give me a really good reason not to.

I'm out of there first chance I get heh, but I'm just glad to have a job for the moment.
