Those 2 xanax's was a bad idea.

A new store opened up in my area today, so instead of Klonopin which would have me too sedated, I took 2 xanax, and entered the store. I had a good time checkin it out, and such.. but now..

I'm crashing from it.

My stomach feels sick, and I feel VERY tired.

It's not even 9pm and I feel like I'm about to pass out.

:/ Hopefully this bottle of Cola will help me a long a bit longer. I don't wanna sleep yet!

Personally I hate xanax, I think it's a ridiculous drug - When I take it I feel extremely spacey after I come down off of it, and tired, and I have a few family members who are really addicted to the stuff. Hope you feel better dude

New user hoping someone can offer some advice. Long story so bare with me...I've been on vicodin for months now due to knee surgery in April, I'm also on wellbutrin for depression. Two days agao my doc prescribed me .5mg klonopin twice a day and .25mg xanax once a day for anxiety. It's not working. No euphoric feeling at all. I'm just tired and really pissed off at the world. I tried taking more to see if I needed a higher dosage and still no luck. I've now taken 1mg xanax and 1mg klonopin today and I don't feel even the slightest bit different. Anyone have any advice at all. Oh, and this is my first time ever on these drugs.

Well, they arent like opiates in that they produce a noticeably good feeling. They are used for anxiety and to help people sleep. The only way you are really going to notice benzo's imo is if you take like 2-3mg, even then it isnt really a euphoria feeling but more of a feeling of carelessness. that "i dont give a fuck" attitude.

Everyone's different, they don't seem to be working for you :shrug:.  Go back to the doc and let him know.

I wonder if it has anything to the high tolerance to the pain meds I'm on? Anyone ever heard anything like that?

The pain meds have that affect of making someone "crankey."

Benzos are not known to do that at all. I have never heard of that.
