Garmin nüvi 670, 855 or TomTom ONE XL 4.3-Inch or something better?

I want a GPS that is solid, easy to use and doesn't loose signal. My plan was to get an external antenna, but Garmin decided to quit including the antenna port on the new Nuvi's (new nuvi's tend to be rated damn good)

After a ton of searching, the three best looking GPS's that work with an external antenna appear to be the nüvi 670, the nüvi 855 and the TomTom ONE XL. I'm leaning towards the TomTom, both because it's rated good and because I'm pissed at Garmin (in part for removing the antenna port, in part for selling me an overpriced 255)

I was just wondering if anyone has any recommendations before I pull the trigger. What is really annoying is that GPS manufactures seem focused on adding stupid features - not higher-end hardware or better antennas or stuff that really matters. I looked at a few 'commercial' units, but they just looked buggy and expensive.
