Sorry I don't spend all my time researching mushrooms. & I wasn't asking for instructions on how to eat them you fucking idiot I was just asking if that was a weak type of ACTIVES since you all bitch when I call them by their name, Shrooms. Someone said a type they might be but said it was really weak so I was wondering if this type was weak as well.

I did do some research,
and I actually couldn't find much about the hallugicenic properties of some of the shroom types.

I would just like to say that I have come to this site alot before and never actually made an account and I finally did but have only come to realize that this site is filled with bitches who don't understand that not everybody knows everything about mushrooms. Wow, noone here was being pretentious... In fact I think your use of the word was pretentious. People expect you to do some research, spore print and write down some information about them. There is a section labeled as being for noobs and another section that explains identification requests... This all takes about 30 minutes at the longest. If you don't have 30 minutes to do those things, then don't expect other people to do them for you.

Also I came to this site a few weeks ago knowing NOTHING about identification, or hunting and everyone was very helpful and offered me their help with absolutely no pretentiousness.

The problem is that you are lazy and expected people to do everything for you, and you seem to have the attitude that your time is more important than the people's on this thread so they should identify your mushrooms and then thank you for it.

Not everyone here is just a mushroom nerd. More than one person gave you the name Panaeolina foenisecii, and a few general descriptions on how to tell them apart from cinctulus. No matter how much you want, some of your mushrooms are NOT active. You're on the right track, just not with getting aggressive and upset. Maybe mushroom hunting isn't for you. It takes patience and research.

Next time you post an ID and you get a species name, take the time to research it for 10 mins or so. You would have found that some of the species you have are, once again, NOT active, answering the very question you asked. Learn how to do spore prints, and this would all have been avoided. Don't hate on the people helping you out:thumbdown:

I wasn't talking about you. I was referring to the OP. It's childish to reject any sort of knowledge put in front of you, no matter how wrong you think it is. Sometimes people that would rather "go get some acid" should do just that, instead of getting aggravated at people trying to help. Sometimes it is a matter of life and death!!!

I was apologizing in response to domestic gnomes comment on the thread getting heated, but I completely agree with bfogg. Shroomery isn't for everybody, and if someone doesn't want to listen and learn, then it probably isn't for them.

I'm definitely on you guys' side. I just hate to see everybody so flustered. Sonicyouth said some effed up shit. There's just no reason for anyone to even get that pissed over a few mushrooms. If you don't like mushroom identification or our advice, then leave the mushies be and definitely don't waste our time.

The are not called "shrooms", that's what high school kids call them which I'm now certain you are.  I tried to be nice but I didnt' say what you wanted to hear so you kept on.  You don't have the patience or the love for this hobby.
