    #1492750 - 04/25/03 12:44 PM (13 years, 7 months ago)

I found two muchrooms growing in my back yard, look kind of like P. Cubensis, but im no expert so idk, plus they werent on cow dung, just in my back yard. The spore prints are brownish looking, so is that good or bad? Ill try to get some pics soon, but i dried them already, so idk what you guys could tell. Any help would be appreciative.

I could say a lot, most of it negative, but I won't.

All I'll say is read the mushroom hunting FAQ and the first two threads in the forum.

HEre is a four and a half inch P. cubensis print from Phuket Island off of the coast of the Andaman Sea facing India from Thailand's southwestern Shores.

Click to enlarge to actual size.

They are usually dark chocolate to dark Chocolate-purple brown.

I bring it up on my screen and I have a ruler handy and it is exactly 4 1/2 inches in size. I have no idea what my screen size is.

you must have it on 1024x768. that would shrink it down some.

Did we realy need to know all that?
Why not just say they're purple brown?

A spore print is still a spore print, don't try to glorify it.

Did I really need to read about stupid Christians and churches which have nothing to do with shroom identification?

I think it is good to know the source of the print.
