Sometimes I get these intense migraines as well (sometimes quite often). Yours must not be so bad if you're able to look at the computer screen in front of you :smirk:

The only thing that works sometimes for me is sleep.:yesnod: Tylenol doesn't do shit. Going outside for a walk or a jog either so I drink a lot of water and it relieves the pain somewhat but doesn't make it go away.

Just some advice from my own experiences

I get crazy visual migraines rarely, colors start to get sucked towards the right of my vision and swirl around in the corner of my eye, and eventually that pattern grows until it's about a third of the way towards the center of my vision, and that's when the headache starts :sad:

I usually just take whatever downers I can and try to sleep it off.

Used to get them all time, they never went away until I was literally throwing up from the pain. Unless you have imitrix, good luck friend. While mainly used for cluster headaches, some have reported low dose psilocybin to be effective at relieving migraine pain(couldn't vouch for it, never tried it).

If the pain isn't too incapacitating, get in the shower, stick your head under the faucet, and alternate between hot and cold. Helps a bit for me :shrug:

Basic neck stretch and neck massage.

I get nauseatingly bad headaches alot. I massage and stretch my neck and take an hour nap. It sure beats ibuprofin. Otherwise if you can get 800mg ibu from your doctor that helps.

He said it's been his only one. If it continues though, I would recommend imitrex or a pill(name escapes me) that is codiene,phenobarbital,and asa(asprin) for breakthrough pain.

Low dose psilocybin, thats what works for me. Since I started taking shrooms, my migraines have lessened in severity by several degrees. Only missed 2 days of work this year, as opposed to 3 or 4 a month before this.

Imitrex works as well, but it fucks with my heart rate. I told my doc I was taking mushrooms as a prophylactic, and he actually said he read the studies and found them promising, but "could not officially recommend" that I take them. And then told me he was pleased I was feeling better. Cool guy.

I have heard a low dose of mushrooms will help cluster headaches and migraines. Do it in the name of RESEARCH!

Good. Those things are terrible. I've only had what I would consider a true migraine once, and I had to lay down from it. I couldn't sleep because my damn head was throbbing so bad and every sound and light was like an explosion of pain. On top of that felt like my brain was cooking on a skillet pretty much.
