This is because neither meat nor fat are bad for you.

A human can thrive on just fat and protein, thus bacon. Carbs, including vegetables, are pretty much optional.

I had a friend that was a vegetarian for 3 years, he came over one day and I
was cooking bacon, I tried to talk him out of it but he had to have one that
was only slightly cooked. 2 piece of bacon and he was screwed for about 3 days

I treat American Chinese as a different thing from real Chinese.  Real Chinese food you can really only make yourself.  There is one restaurant here here that serves traditional Chinese fare but they don't even offer it to whitie.  You literally have to know or be an Asian to get the menu.
