Should the GOP be charged with treason or terrorism? * 1

If an outside source was bent on derailing the credit worthiness of the U.S.A. they would be charged with treason or terrorism.
Should members of the GOP be charged with the same?
Bush wars.
Bush tax cuts.
Bush financial regulation
Have an enormous responsibility for bringing us to this place.
Now the GOP wants to throw senior citizens and the working poor to the dogs while protecting the ultra rich and corporations who are making record profits while paying little to no taxes because of loopholes and crooked accounting.
The republican party in a general sense seems bent on only protecting the rich and would fuck the poor and elderly.
What do you think?
I say that they should be selectively prosecuted for treason against our country and punished accordingly.

There is a lot of ideology with the GOP, they speak of limited government and the such, although they are not always consistent with this belief in their actions.  I think for the most part they would argue that they don't want the government to be the organization responsible for handling the poor and elderly.  They would favor private organizations competing to best solve the problem, and want to make sure these organizations can afford to be run well by not being burdened with heavy taxes.  I think the ideology sounds great but again it isn't going to work when it is not consistently applied.

Yeah.  It isn't like the problem is that people think the idea is bad..  It just isn't practical to do.  Greed is too powerful and whenever there is revenue to be made... People will fight for it.

If you believe this to be true of human nature, then isn't capitalism the perfect system to address this?  Otherwise you would need a system where no revenue can ever be made by any one person, which is probably impossible.  How would it ever be possible to escape greed if this is truly our nature?  Honestly, I think a lot of the blame can be placed on the sheep citizens who don't question anything.  The only reason shit is messed up is because people sit around eating McDonald's not giving a fuck who or what is causing problems.

You know.. The exact same thing can be said about liberals. Its a "fake" reality. You strive to make everything even, but what do you get? A form of socialism/communism. It sounds all good up front taking from the rich or whoever and giving to the poor. The end tells a different story. Eventually the money runs out and everyone is equally poor. Really though... A small elite group is in control. Thats how it works.

There is a name for a system of government that allows certain companies (GM, Chrysler) to receive benefits while denying others, 1) a central authoritarian government (Obama's Dream,) 2)stringent socioeconomic control (The healthcare bill,)3) belligerent nationalism (such as two or three uneccesary wars,) and 4) suppression of opposition through coercion or censorship ('The Fairness Act',)5) racism (equal opportunity.)  Seems our government is running at redline with the pedal to the metal to see if we can get there quicker.

The only thing I would change is 'belligerent nationalism' replaced with 'Belligerent Globalization, (Libya.)
