lol my old roommie used to breed the bufo toads! only thing is what they squirt at you can make you go blind so extraction from them can be a little messy and you gotta have eye protection on.

he ended up setting free about 100 breeding pairs in florida in our apartment lake, a couple years later on the news i see a story about bufo toads causing a scene all over the place clogging filtration systems, dogs/cats eating and getting sick/dying, messing up the ecosystems, eating everything in sight, ect.

Kinda wild stuff. accidental ecoterrorism/stupidity at its finest!

Bufo alvarius toads are nearly impossible to breed in captivity. Those were probably cane toads.

LoL i came home and was like where are all the frogs? (because they make a racket ribbiting all fucking day) and my roommie was like oh i let them all loose in the lake i couldnt sleep!

Haha about a year ago my friend found a toad in his neighborhood after it rained. It was pretty huge like the size of my palm. The toad was fucking awesome. Anyway after carrying it around for a day we decided to let it go where we found it. A few months later I read up about 5 meo dmt and I realized it was the Bufo! I was so pissed I didn't know about it earlier lol I would've milked it.

I live in the Sonoran Desert. Phoenix.

you can buy bufo marius toads from reptile distributors thats where my roomie got his he just called a reptile shop ordered 5 males and 5 femals paid for them in full upfront and bought some fishtanks and moss and dog food an they bred like CRAZY!

PS the reptile shops know whats going on when you ask for a cane toad the guy was like "SOMEONE IS GONNA BE TRIPPPPPPIIIINNNNN!!!!!" my bud was like no they are for my snake the guy goes "bullshit!" LOL

sorry! i was wrong on the species not bufo marinus it was bufo alvarius! AKA the colorado river toad! it took a minute to think about the name. but it was definitely the colorado river toad! which does produce DMT.
