Richard Dawkins VS. Wendy Wright

I know this is not too recent, but it's an interesting interview none the less. This woman makes me mad the way she just ignores what he says, when she asks for evidence. He clearly gives her evidence, and she completely just changes the subject.
I really want to know what you guys think about this subject, and this interview.

4 minutes into the first video, so far this goofy blonde bitch has made some good points... About science itself rather than evolution.

I'm only like a minute into it but I already love the way she starts out with the "atheists have no moral foundation" argument. :lol:

I also like watching the looks on people like Dawkins' faces when somebody's spouting such stupidity.

I like Dawkins, normally he comes across just as over-zelous as the religious folk, he is awesome here though. Great stuff man.

I don't like him all the time, but i really did like this interview, and his stance on evolution.
I also like how he brought up the bishops that believe god created us using evolution.

4 minutes in, dawkins is clearly a dick, and in terms of debate and not being a dick, she wins.  She's friendly and reasonable too.  If dawkins talked to me like that i'd tell him to fuck off right quick.

I believe in evolution btw.

the point about the scientific community shutting down/blackballing anyone
that questions their belief in evolution was pretty spot on. science
apparently has the need to appeal to authority and to 'burn the heretics'
that question those teachings.

ok about 2/3rds of this debate is this woman trying to argue against the "ethics" of evolution instead of its scientific validity which makes absolutely no sense, whether or not religious people are more moral than evolutionists or not has no bearing on whether humans evolved from great apes or not.

also, this bitch obviously either hadn't heard of or REALLY didn't want to talk about australopithecus. she asked for intermediary species and he named like five and she just ignores him.

I don't necessarily take dawkins' word as gospel and yes his personality can be annoying, but the man is clearly more intelligent and knowledgeable than this woman on the subject. and yes, the scientific community is far from perfect but I'll take the scientific method over fairy tales any day.

Dawkins is kind of a douche, but at least he's intelligent and factual.  It almost seems like the woman agreed to the interview to promote her own church or whatever, because she really contributed nothing to the debate.
