Michigan ID - pics soon to come

Although no pics yet

I found a cluster of tiny pins, they kinda look like corn kernals.
It was growing right where the roots of a giant maple tree are going into the grown with small patches of grass around it.

Also wondering what my eyes should be open for this time of the year.

I'm lookin for mainly Pans and edibles.

I know the edibles here are morels, not sure of the real name but my parents call them beefsteak shrooms?? and Oysters are on like every birch tree i see..

I'll just do more research, dont want to waste time of others on something i can figure out me self. i have a saved list, its been a bitch goin back n forth to figure out seasons.

It's a bit late for morels. If you find oysters then pick some and show us.

Not sure if Panaeolus cyanescens grows in Michigan. If it does then it'll be on cow crap, not maple tree roots.

Other than Panaeolus cinctulus, I'm not sure which of those species grow at this time of year.
