You are wrong. The real numbers weren't very large. Sure, more soldiers would have died, but not that many.

They didnt give anything, they were brutally mass murdered by nuclear fire, in part because the US wanted nuclear bomb statistics from an attack on a wood based structures city vs a stone building city.

Oh, did you miss the part that the Soviet Union declared war on Japan and started invading their conquered territory in China on the same day the bomb was dropped on Hiroshima? Surely that had something to do with the surrender too.

Nagasaki happened 3 days after Hiroshima and the Russian assault. Japan was given no response time, these two bombs had to be dropped and one was dropped on an unbombed city of stone and another on an unbombed city of wood, one bomb of the Uranium Gun design and another of the Plutonium Implosion design. Perfect for surveyors of the damage which were sent in right after to gather this invaluable data of physical and human life loss.

They didnt have a third bomb, they were so sure they dropped them both. Im CERTAIN that they would have dropped a third right after if they had it.

Why drop two, and the second so shortly after the first that Japan didnt have TIME to surrender? The US owned Japanese airspace, there was no reason to suspect the second plane wouldnt get through if needed.
Why two, your only two, on two lightly damaged targets perfect for damage assessment?
