You won't regret it. After having that, I couldn't go back to regular peanut butter like Peter Pan, it didn't taste right to me.

Pretty much all peanut butter you buy in the store is disgusting, and an insult to peanuts. Conventional peanut butter has Crisco (or hydrogenated oils) mixed into it, to give it that perfect texture. The peanut butter from the machines, those machines produce a very crude peanut butter, far removed from a fine, whipped texture. Natural peanut butter already in the jar, well, the ones with palm oil mixed in are nasty; and the ones without palm oil just taste old (palm oil ones taste old too).

I realized just how nasty all store bought peanut butter is when I ate some peanut butter high one day. I was able to discern what a disgusting concoction I was eating.

So what's good peanut butter? Home made peanut butter. start with raw peanuts, roast them (I imagine lard would be the best), whip em up nice an' fluffy. Now that's peanut butter.

I'd love to be able to make a batch of my own one day. I once saw it being made in this shop, inside a machine. Looked elaborate. Think I'd probably fail if i tried making some haha.
