how is that a stupid comment? One of his parents is black and the other is white...therefore he is half black. I think its a bit surprising because everyone else I've ever knew of or met that has been half black, you could tell. I think majority of people who are basketball fans knew that Jason Kidd was half white/half black

I think he is saying it's retarded to point out due to the fact that soo many players are of different ethnic backgrounds these days. White guys are making a comeback

I think I have LeBron figured out. He's like the best looking college kid you've ever seen. I think his main problem is that he is something of a narcissist and winning has a lesser priority for him after fame and fortune. He hangs out with Warren Buffet so he can fulfill his dream of being fabulously wealthy, independent of basketball. And he clearly loves the attention he gets.

He has his reward already. Winning is mostly something others want for him. Sure, he'd like to win, maybe even wants it very bad. But not enough to make winning the number one priority in his career. He has some holes he's trying to fill with fame and fortune.

He needs to do some soul searching and until he makes winning his number one priority, he's going to keep coming up short. Lots of immaturity still there. Having said that, Jordan didn't win his first championship until 27 or 28 so LeBron can do it if he gets his head together.

Penny money. If he plays his cards right, he can make much more money off the court.

Not that I don't appreciate the sacrifice. Just placing it in context. I'm actually far less hard on LeBron than most people. He has all the physical gifts. He just needs a complete mental game to go with it.

I think his post game comments about his critics basically being losers while he goes back to his fabulous life tells you something and makes my point. He can be satisfied with his wealthy lifestyle. Winning isn't THE thing to him.

I actually think you're on to something there. I would actually rather be a mediocre but rich NBA player with a life outside of work than monomaniacal. I enjoy doing the bare minimum at my current job so I guess it's the same thing in a way.
