This dude at work said that LeBron James is on his way to becoming the next Michael Jordan, even suggesting he might outshine him.
I said bullshit, and told him that the only way someone can be as good as Jordan or better is if they had same unique physique as him.

yeah i mean.. u cant compare right now.. i mean lebrons been in the league for only 3 years.. jordan played pro ball for what.. 15 years? im guessing.. i think he started around 1987.. someone can correct me on that im sure.. and he came in and out of retirement.
however.. so far i think that lebron is off to a much better start than MJ ever had.. fuck Kobe Bryant is playing just as good as did is his day..

Jordan was drafted by the Chicago Bulls in 1984. He retired once in 1995, returned, retired again in 1998, and then returned for a final time in 2001 with the Wizards before perma-retiring after a season with the Wizards.

I might be wrong, I know he was drafted in 1984 though. He retired so many times its hard to pin point it easily. He was pretty indecisive.

why exactly would the physique matter so much?
lebron is amazing right now, but you can never compare someone to the greatest without time

Jordan had a superhuman physique, especially with definition in his legs and thighs. It's a mystery why Jordan was so good at basketball. Perhaps after he dies scientists should study his brain or something.
