KILLS TRIC STONE DEAD

I found this stuff at a wholesale resturant & food supply place.
I decided to test it on tric. It kills it dead. Trouble is, it also kills myc.
But, if you catch a tiny SURFACE OUTBREAK on a substrate, or casing material. You can apply this stuff with an eyebropper, pipette, or tiny atomimozer & it KILLS the blue/green funk without taking much substrate or casing area with it.

Nice find as always!
Seems that a dropper type device would be preferable over an atomizer since an atomizer could send trich spores flying everywhere.
I was thinking about the problem of killing the mycelium also and it got me thinking...I wonder if its possible to get the natural antibiotic that's produced in the mycelium and use that in concentrated form. Presumably it would at least damage the mycelium less if not cause no damage.
Would bleach work similarly to the amonium chlorides?
Thanks

salt & vinegar solution applied topically will pickle most contaminators .
the problem is, getting them before the spores become airborne .
edit: kills weeds too .

Quaternary ammonium chlorides are a familiar class of disinfectants. Lysol for example. Shroom's main natural antibacterial is peroxide- H2O2.

How about using a magnifying glass, and the sun?
Even works through glass!

on a more serious note.. I"ve used
Potassium metabisulphyte ( spelling might be off.. sorry anno )
It's a wine sanitation agent.
but again. you have to catch it as soon as it shows it's ugly green head.

Hate to be a technical pain in the arse, but if your substrate is going green, chances are it is Penicillium or Aspergillus rather than Trich.

All fruits which appear in the application area should be avoided.Quaternary compounds are quite toxic. In a casing I prefer to keep an extra spawn jar and completly cut out the contamination and with liberal H2O2 spray in the cavity and patch the area and recase.I am very leary of bioaccumulation in fungi so I do not tolerate any toxic substances beyond H2O2 on any edible species.WR

try Banrot 40wp. about 1/2 teaspoon per gallon. leaves mycellia alive. very toxic, corrosive, handle with care.

Like the Banrot they been trying over at mycotopia, try diluting the liquid sanitizer to 1/10, 1/20, 1/50 of the recommended solution and see if it will kill trich and leave the mycellium alone. Seems cubensis is a rather sturdy and can handle the fungicide in Banrot at low percentage solutions...maybe it can take a low dose of Control Plus and still be too toxic for contams. Even better about Control Plus is that it's anti-bacterial too.
