I hear translation and interpretation has a lot to do with it.

I really am not familiar with those texts though. But I figure as any old religion there is some good in it, or some that can be found.

Besides, it is all just based on old UFO and alien contact accounts.

Yeah translation does change it a lot but if I'm reading those translations so are other people so the book is fucked either way.

The good of any religion is negated in my mind if they tell their adherents to kill others who aren't of their religion.
