Darker Than Black is damn fucking good from what I saw, and you should definitely give Cowboy Bebop another chance. It is one of the most diverse and magnificent animes ever made.

I put them in order of which ones I personally love and which you would love more based on your list of what you've dug so far.

The infinite fighting .gif in my sig is from Yu Yu Hakusho, and the spinning one is from Trigun. I think Yu Yu and Black Cat you'd love in my opinion.

i've got princess mononoke on loan from the library right now. Miyazakis films are so beautiful they almost bring a tear to my eye.

thanks for all those recommendations, Sunset. i need to check out some more anime (although i'm not really into the whole super violent/overly sexualized stuff).

Meet Hayao Miyazaki. Everything by this man is gold. I recommend Howl's Moving Castle or Princess Mononoke first, they are bother incredibly epic.

I recently watched  "Ergo Proxy" and "Serial Experiments:Lain"  and I recommend both.


Also mentioned already were  Trigun and Elfen Lied  :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:


Blue Gender isnt bad. It gets off slowly but I really like the way the story goes.

The Trigun movie came out last year.  Its called  "Badlands Rumble"

Gungrave - Mafia syndicate anime with a touch of the undead and the occult

Neon Genesis Evangelion - You need at least 5 years of prior knowledge with psychology and philosophy and religion to even try to understand this

Elfen Lied
Ichiban Ushiro No Daimou
Katekyo Hitman Reborn



That is all you need. I'm too lazy to explain the others.

Also, Ouran High School Host Club. It's a shojo, so you may like that. Serial Experiments Lain is a great one, as is Boogiepop Phantom, Ghost In The Shell and FLCL. Also Ranma 1/2 and Inuyasha.

Fuck I forgot...    If you havnt saeen Samurai Champloo  I highly suggest it!(same director as bebop)

Nujabes does a lot of the music and he was amazing.    He died last year.
