suggest me some sandal/summer appropriate footwear that isn't lame

the title says it.  any what's your favorite sandal brand?  suggest shit to me. 

but not vibrams five fingers or whatever.  i'd consider those for kayaking or something, but you look like a tool wearing them around town.

decent leather sandals preferred.

I haven't found anything sandal-wise yet that both felt and looked good. I settle for feel good now. But I'm ready to be enlightened.

Last year I bought a pair of these:

Really nice to wear, but still not much to look at. It was the least worst option in that respect though. Although perhaps Teva's look a tad less toolish.

eh.. those are pretty much exactly what i don't want.  i don't need them to be extremely rugged or anything.  i just want something comfortable and sensible that i can throw on when i'm just fuckin around in town.

Head over to Zappos they have a good selection and tons of different brands. I also saw these beauties last summer being sold, friend bought a pair and lost them at the same festival, but at the time they were comfy and durable!

I fucking hate the game. Its stupid as fuck. but you got to play it. People attract certain people depending most of the time on appearance. This isnt always the case, but most of the time it is. Thats why you see goths with goths, hippies with hippies. Clickish i guess you could say. The way you dress, you will prob attract someone who is the same. See what im saying? So i guess if you wear those sandals and you attract a hippie girl, that must be what you like. I didnt mean any offense to anyone. Im just not into the type of girls that will go for guys with sandals.
