What is your favorite footwear?

Hey everyone!  I'm just curious what is everyone's favorite type of footwear.  Share your faves!

I just found these online the other day: Vibram Five Fingers and was wondering if anyone here has ever worn a pair?  I think I would like to order a pair for Christmas.

HOLY HELL FACE!  Those look SOOOOOO comfortable!  I used to wear Land's End Mocs because of the lifetime guarantee.  I would just return them once they started to fall apart and get new ones for free.  I had free shoes for about 4 years!

A lifetime guarantee on shoes would be nice. I've been wearing those SIMPLE shoes for about 4 months now and they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I'd recommend 'em :thumbup:

In the winter i love Doc Martin boots, but in the summer i wear Tevo sandles. That is if i wear shoes at all.

The only stores that I've seen them is called Abba Dabba's. I would definitely see if you can find a vendor near by because you need to try them on before your try to size them properly.

I love em though. When I take them off after wearing them for the day or even after an STS9 concert, I expect my feet to be sweaty cause they're completely covered by cloth but my toes are always dry like they should be. They're really comfortable, the part between the toes doesn't bother me at all, and I cannot stand wear thonger sandals because the thong between my toes bothers the fuck out of me.

I highly recommend them, and it's always a good conversation topic and interesting when you meet the few other people who have them.

a pair of zoo yorks
and a pair of vans both high tops 

so skating shoes normally

My current everyday pair is Nike Air Assault Low Camo Army Green/Brown.  But I also have a pair of Entnies, New Balance runners, and a pair of Doc Martin boots!

I have a pair of Durango Engineers boots I've had for years. I got them resoled with the flat working sole like the redwings.  Despite my love of nice leather boots,I really don't care for heels,all my boots get resoled with a flat Working sole.



and a this same pair of pre-china,American made red wing Engineers.  They've been reworked with a metatarsal guard along the strap,when they became required at work.
mine are much darker and abused to fuck.



I love boots and wear them at work and to ride,but For normal fucking around I've worn skate shoes me entire life.

I have a gigantic Collection of shoes,and they are all Boots and skate shoes,hah. From Original WWII american officers boots and Nazi Jack boots,to Original Vans Half Cabs,and 80's Vision skate shoes.

Redwings are, hands down, my fave boot as far as durability.  I used to sell these when I worked in the Sears Shoe Department.  I would always try to upsell customers from the Timberlands to the Redwings since I knew they would come back with the Tims in a rather short time.  Redwings are amazing, I've owned 2 pairs in the past 8 years and they have served me well.  In fact, the only reason I replaced the first pair was because my job was buying all new boots for the crew :thumbup:

I gave my old pair away to a friend of mine who works in a stable and as far as I know he still uses them to this day! 

I will say that my Doc Martens are very awesome.  I wouldn't dare wear them on a job site, but they are comfy as hell and I can get away with wearing them as "dress boots" so long as I clean them up.  I also like the fact that my Doc's give me about a 3" lift.  I'm only 5'9" so the extra inches help... lol
