Do you still get 'The Munchies'
    #14165971 -

I've been smoking for a few years now and I don't get the munchies anymore. I'm past that point it seems, I don't get hungrier anymore.

Back a few years I could manage to force a McDonald's to close early...

Do you still get the munchies?

Also, If you can remember, what's the worse case of munchies you had?

hell yea i get the munchies, but mostly from mids. which is odd.

i find that if i smoke mids i can eat so much food that when i stop being so high my stomach hurts.

i find that if i smoke dank i just get ripped as shit, sometimes i get a little hungry but thats just because sometimes i happen to get hungry when im high.

if i dont smoke i dont have an apetite and i cant eat. this will go on however long until i smoke again.

I get em sometimes, it depends, usually only when I'm smoking indica. Another really obnoxious part of tolerance is that you come down so much faster. I am almost completely sober within an hour and a half or so even after smoking a couple bowls. But blunts/joints can take me far beyond that :yesnod:

I smoked a blunt of Mango Kush last night, and it had me acting like a goofball for a while, it felt like my face was stuck and I couldn't shake off my facial expression.

That's exactly what I was thinking.

"They say that true potheads stops getting the munchies after a certain point. I mean the true pothead wouldn't even say the word munchies. I dont know what the true pothead would say."munchos" or "hungries" or something. At any rate, I still love to eat when I'm high. So fuck you if you're too cool to get hungry when you're stoned."

I definitely get them but I can also control them when I smoke, because it's not reasonable for me to eat every time I smoke... I have always smoked right before meals, and it makes eating much more enjoyable. I take total advantage of the munchies when they come around .

i'm really skinny and have a tough time getting hungry as it is. so when i've gone without eating for a long time and i'm still not hungry at all, i know i gotta eat so i'll cook up a big meal and get high and that'll motivate me to eat it more

"We are all intoxicated. We were born into an insane asylum, a world crazy-making. We believe what we see and hear. The real myth is the myth of sanity, of rationality: it's a disease that is eating away at the earth. All the poisons flow from our denial. We deny madness, we forget our crimes, we dismember the corpse, we imprison our children. We need poison to poison the poison, to remember the sacred nature of intoxication, the green body of the young god." ~ Dale Pendell

I used to a lot, but now I never do.

I tend to recognize it and then dismiss it.

I enjoy food more but I don't get munchies.  I was having a lot of trouble eating from how stressed I was a few weeks ago and I'd sit here and puff bowls of dank and still barely be able to nibble on my sandwich.

Yesterday I got high and then got hungry. I went into the pantry and thought, "I don't need you", and then walked out and went to bed (with a Hersey's Kiss).
