USPS Questions Regarding Return Address/Real or Fake Name/Minimizing The Trail

I want to order 2C-E in the U.S. (domestically). Essentially, I am trying to minimize the trail leading back to me and would like some advice. The vendor has a policy where the intended use of the substance must be provided via email along with shipping info, and then once approved a mailing address is given to send cash to (as I have selected this method).

I am intending to pay with cash via a mail envelope. I know you can leave your outgoing mail either outside your house to be picked up or drop it off in the little blue bin downtown or wherever. My questions are:

1) Would it be advisable to drop it in the outgoing mail bin downtown w/o a return address? I am thinking of providing the mailing info via email and putting some sort of marker in the envelope in order to identify to the vendor who to send the package to. Something like a number or some simple thing.

2) What are the downsides of using a fake mailing name? Same address as the real that is but changing your name? Is there an advantage to this in terms of safety? Or alternatively would that just make the situation more suspicious or fishy since you would think the federal government knows who does/doesn't live where? I am really not familiar with the rules in terms of providing your name. I read somewhere that since 9/11 anything like that would be a red flag but I am not certain that is true, as other people have said they do it without problem.

3) Are there any other practical ways to minimize the trail, aside from using a proxy to send mail from an email address?

Informed advice/info is much appreciated!

Someone's paranoid, but hey it's better to be safe than sorry. when you sign up for that email, use all fake stuff, then use proxy to login/send/receive. then delete all messages after your done.

As for the mail, I'm prob not the best to answer this, but using a fake name can result in more attention/not being delivered. Maybe a common misspelling of the name will be okay.

2c-e is legal, I would just order it just like anything else.  I have never heard of anyone having problems due to ordering RC's.  If you mail cash make sure it can not be detected in the envelope, postmen like cash.

I never put return addresses on shit and never have a problem. If you think your letter is too heavy, go weigh it and make sure the postage is fine.
