why dumb people shouldn't be allowed to own pets

So I work with this dumb broad. she's cool enough, and skanky enough that I know I'm gonna hit it eventually, but I digress. Did I mention she's dumb.

So a few months ago I got a puppy. My puppy is great and a well behaved dog enjoying life as a puppy. A few weeks ago she calls me up and tells me that she just got a puppy, and that they still have a few left. Do I know anybody that wants a dog? My response is soming along the lines of "What, Wait. Why do you have a puppy? Who left you in charge of something else's life? Beth, puppys are a big responsibility" she gives some smartass remark about how she knows what she's doing blah blah stop being such a dick.  So fast forward to today, and her puppy falls in her pool and drowns. I mean seriously, WTF, its a puppy. Unless you have introduced it to water and know that it knows how to swim why would you leave it unsupervised where it could fall in the pool. Come on man! Its a puppy, They're curious! Come on man! I'm sure it went over, checking the pool out, fell in, freaked out and drowned. 

anyways, its kinda sad that the puppy died, but seriously, I couldn't help but find humor in the irony of my response and the outcome of this situation.

in fact, mother nature shouldve killed this bitch off ages ago. how is it shes still around?

instead it claimed the knowledgeless puppy as its victim, in lieu of its negligent owner.

god damn everybody's fuckin' up these days.. humans, puppys,, and even the natural order of doin' thangs did its job poorly on this day

Maybe she accidentally left the door open and the puppy just ran real fast into the pool. :shrug:

Animals are supposed to protect their young. When you adopt an animal you take on the role of caregiver/mother/protector. Puppies are supposed to be dumb, adults are not. If I let my baby drown in the bathtub is it not my fault? Oh well babies are dumb right?

She was too dumb to see the threat. Now that we know she's too dumb to take care of a puppy, she shouldn't be able to get another one. Would punishing her save the puppy? Would punishing the parent get the baby back? No, but not allowing them to take care of anything else could save future lives.

People who seek someone to take revenge on piss me off almost as much as the people who let stupid accidents happen.
