while i agree that this would be a catastrophe, why would it result in WWIII? its hard to imagine china or russia deciding to engage the unites states or nato in a nuclear war because israel was kicking egypt all over the map...

My thoughts are that there are a lot of people who hate the US right now, and if they decide that they want to form an alliance and start a war with us, China might come to our aid for economic reasons.  But I could be wrong.  I'm not extremely familiar with world politics.

As if the Israeli army wasn't well-funded and tough enough as it is, the majority of the women will kill you with their looks.

I would say "no" at this point.

In my opinion, it's a public front to quiet the violent dissent and protests. Dispensing cabinet members or representatives doesn't do a damn thing when the official messages and orders still trickle down from the top.

It's like Hitler saying, "fine, fine, if the troop commanders are mean, I'll just replace them with someone else."

Mubarak said he wants to move forward with reform.

If the people, by an overwhelming majority, say "fuck your reform - let's elect this new guy" then by the decree of democracy this should take place. Whose making decisions for the people? All major cities are protesting against the old ass rich pecker head, and yet all of his control and resources have remained the same - backed up no less by other influential and powerful people, including the majority of Mid-East corporations.

I dated an Israeli woman for 3 years. We're off and on still.

A lot of them are beautiful, but you can forget any  excessive nurturing, affection, or otherwise feminine behavior. Most would scoff to hear me say this. But in reality it's hard to go from wielding a machine gun to cooking pancakes for hubby.
