Will cloning to GLC then to LC unnecessarily induce cell division/senescence?

So if I go MS>LC>Grain>Fruit>Tissue Clone>Grain>Grain LC>Regular LC for a master, how much am I inducing senescence? Is there a better way, without agar? The reason I have to go back to a regular LC from the GLC is that I need a long-term storage option for a master and my grain jars are not it.

This is my first time cloning and working with stuff that can induce senescence. I want to make sure I'm not going through some convoluted process that will unnecessarily increase cell division.
