500 mg Propylhexedrine Ingested

I recently learned that Benzedrex inhalers contain Propylhexedrine and are a pretty good OTC stim. However, I didn't see many reports of individuals ingesting more than 250 mg. I ingested 500 mg Propylhexedrine via putting 2 cotton rods in water and drinking them. The liquid solution became cloudy and off white. It tasted like I drank an industrial solvent, without the burn. At first, I tried to ingest half a cotton, the burn on my lips told me this was unfeasible, plus the cotton is pretty solid. Also, I just want to know I have a history of IV D-meth use so if I don't get much out of this, don't be disappointed, it might work much better on you than me.

Baseline -- 2:03 PM


T+0  Placed 2 benzedrex cottons (250mg each) into a glass of water.
     
          note: The taste is horrible, it tastes like an industrial
                cleaner.

T+5  No effects noted at this time, other than that horrible taste
    and a slight burning sensation on my lip from contact with the
    inhaler.

T+10  No effects noted, my mood: Content, pretty happy but not
      euphoric.

T+20  Slight uplift, nothing spectacular. I am still in a good
      mood.

T+35  Feeling ok, still no euphoria or speed.


T+37  Feeling tingling sensation in my stomach, quite nice. I think
      I am about to start coming up. We will see.

T+39 Feeling Damn good. Putting on some happy upbeat rockabilly
    music. I love you all. Come pet this bunny if you wanna.

T+40 Anyone wanna pet the bunny? I will let you stroke my tummy
    and give me sparklies.

T+45 Menthol burps, but all is good. I am feeling great guys! I
    feel very social and want to call someone on the phone or
    go somewhere and just hang out. Life is great!! I love you
    all dearly! Thank you for all the nice things you have said
    to me in your PM's. You are some killer people, and it is
    wonderful to see how sharp your minds are. I hope you all go
    very far in life and live out your dreams!


    note: Propylhexedrine is legit, definate thumbs up!

T+50 This is rocking my gut like an amphetamine, stomach
    is growling but not uneasy or uncomfortable.

I am listening to this:

     


T+65: I am still feeling tingly, and it is surprisingly not a
      dirty speedy high, rather euphoric. I can feel it wearin
      off a little bit, but im still good. I put down the same
      cottons one more time just to see if there was anymore in
      them, for the sake of my experiment.


T+75 Drank a second round of the same 2 cottons, there was some
    left. Feeling stable in my buzz.

T+85 Feelin great again.

T+105 Coming down, but it isnt terrible like coming down off
      most amps. I do have an urge to go buy more, so there
      could be the potential for dependency. However, I am not
      going too. That was a nice little trip.

Summary: Benzedrex is great! You will not get as speedy and
          euphoric as meth or molly, but I would liken it to
          taking a couple of Adderall. I had absolutely no
          nausea, no lingering taste (only menthol burps).
          I will definately do this again.

if you put the cottons in a table spoon of vinegar then add a cup of boiling water most of the menthol/lavender vaporizes off the top

after doing this i gave propyl a second chance..


i would never take 2 at once bc imE it picks you up and drops you

ill make a tincture and sip on it for like 3-4 hours and am actually ready to come down after that long

just my 2 cents.. nice report btw definably the only OTC drug i would do again, us tweakers need to keep this one a secret :wink: :grin:

I just break the cotton into pieces and put the pieces inside of an empty vitamin capsule

propylhex is legit. short and intense imo

I agree. Some jackass posted a video on youtube, it is the only one I am aware of. I must admit, I do find him quite hilarious. I just recently saw that several mescaline extraction vids are being posted with regard to San Pedro and Peruvian torch extractions. I sent the individuals a PM about how they are going to ruin a good thing by having such things posted. Anyways, I didn't really have a come down, nor any problem sleeping. However, in my past, I was a hard IV D-meth user. This is a good little buzz for every once and a while. I will do it again in the future, probably not within the next month or anything, but certainly in the future.

i think it's kind of funny that these things are ready right out of the package.. a 5 year old can buy one

where as pseudoephedrine has age restrictions and is watched :lol:


i actually dont see this becoming illegal anytime soon, a lot of people have really bad reactions to the lavender/menthol

Well, people aren't trying to make methamphetamine from these chemicals. I see it being pulled off the shelves if a lot of people start posting vids on youtube. One of two things will happen,

1. The company that makes them will substitute with a different chem.

2. They will put them behind the counter and regulate their purchase.

Remember Salvia? Idiots started posting on Youtube, 60 minutes go wind, and now many states are making it illegal. Either way, we will find something new. I am a research chem kind of person myself, but I wanted to try Propylhexedrine to provide a report as to its legitimacy as a good stimulant.

Hey guys, I wanted to post an update. I have a friend who is in the ICU right now after trying this for the first time. She took 1 inhaler, pulled out the cotton, put it in a glass of water, and drank it. It tore a hole through her stomach. She had no medical hx of any kind, this was her first time doing anything.


I will be submitting a warning to Erowid along with her medical report where the treating emergency physician CLEARLY STATES
that ingestion of the propylhexedrine and its additives directly resulted in this.

Yeah menthol causes stomach ulcers and other harmful side-effects. Propylhexedrine and lavender do not.

I was thinking it was the menthol. I feel I should submit the doc's report to erowid for posting, just for the safety of other individuals. I feel terrible for even having reviewed it myself, both as an RN and as a human. I will think very carefully next time before doing such a thing.

Yes, I feel particularly bad because I had posted this review of it here as being a "legit" high. She didn't get the idea from my post or from me, but rather from the net. I just don't want to see any of the rest of you hurt over this, so I am posting the warning out of concern for the well-being of all.

Holy shit!  Do they know what chemical specifically caused it?  I've ingested the cotton in propylhexedrine inhalers a few times (in gel caps) and never encountered any problems.
