T Iboga grow
    #13801705 -

Here are a few of the iboga seedlings that someone is growing. The one on the left is hard to see and isn't fully open yet. What you see are just the seed leaves. I'll update this as they progress. Iboga is a little difficult because the seed coat has to be removed carefully by hand or you will lose the majority of seedlings.

There are about 10 seedlings in the grow now. They are slow growing so a pic once a month is probably enough. The first tiny true leaves are showing but too small to see on a pic. The camera only goes to about 18" even with the closeup option on. More iboga seeds should be coming in a week or two.

Do you soak these seeds before planting? Also, what kind of lighting to you keep your E. novo under during the winter?

In the winter, i put my novos under hid light when it's too cold out and the small seedlings either by a window or under floros. The iboga gets soaked by swim briefly in peroxide and then in a damp substrate until they sprout. Then comes the delicate process of removing the seedcoat. One wonders how they survive in the wild?

I wasn't going to start a new thread for it but my damiana is flowering now in the window.

It was about 4 weeks old at the time. They grow slowly the first couple months and then take off, from what i hear.

Looking good but some appear to have a deficiency as indicated by the interveinal chlorosis. A pH test should tell you what's up and then you can adjust the pH so it can uptake what it can't at present.

Could be the ph but i've noticed that when i up the nutes they green up. I keep my water at around 6.5 but for those maybe a bit lower is better. Same situation with the chali

They would green up if you feed them fertilizer, especially fertilizer that has trace elements, but when you don't feed them the problem just comes back because the nutrients get locked out. If this is the case I would bet it's the pH and if you fixed the soil, the problem would disappear.

Do a pH test and prove me wrong. Go on...

Wow! Those are some awesome looking plants! Did you use a heating mat to germinate? How long did they take to germinate?
