Your cultural background?
    #1379790 -

I am blue man on the surface but red man in nature and outlook. My great great grandmother on my mothers side was Blackfoot. I haven't brought it up with my dad yet, but I think he has Cherokee in his family. So I'm a muddle of European blood with a hint of Native American. How has your heritage/culture effected on your attitude and life?

My father works 8 hours a day in an office. I think if he had followed the dreams of his childhood he would never abide by this. Every day would be spent outside. My mother thought she wanted to be an artist but gave it up in college. Now she is an accountant. So I guess the biggest pieces of advice I can decipher from their lives are these: Be in harmony with nature, spend all your time outdoors.. and follow your dreams, do not let the world weigh you down. How has your dna shaped your life's path?

On my mom's side, I'm Swedish and Dutch. On my dad's side, I'm Anglo-American. So basically I'm a total honkey.

I actually once visited the house in Sweden where my great-great-grandfather used to live. I'd also like to mention that my only living European relative lives about a half hour's drive from Amsterdam.

mold myself or mole myself? both would probably apply. I'm at a time in my life when I want to redefine myself and not mindlessly accept what has been set before me. I also like the idea of earth sheltered housing. go figure.

haha, that question reminds me of last new years eve. I went to this "party" to make a pick up. Nt really a party, more of a gathering, 20 people are so. But I swear everybody had a different nationality. People were literally asking us what nationality we were. It was the most amazing thing. The best part was that it was clearly not planned as a multicultural party they just all knew each other. It was crazy. Me I'm irish. "danny boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling"

Go through the orange yesterday

I watched intently for a while to both sides, infront of me and behind me.
I was impressed to learn there was another way to look... UP!
More impressive still was the fact that there were beautiful stars in this direction
Most amazing fact of all was the prospect of another direction when I was done with up. DOWN! Which, based on the feel through my toes would be a fine sandy beach!

Mostly Danish and German descent. Even with my european ancestors though, I'd say my cultural background is Middle American. My ancestors have been on this continent for around 200 years.

I have cherokee blood on both sides of my family. I haven't really looked into it or anything, but i would like to. On my mom's side there is english, scotish, irish, and german. My mom looked a lot of it up and found an old relative who originated in germany. Then on my dad's side there is scotish and irish. I wish i knew some relatives in europe, that would be neat to go visit them. So i'm another mix of sorts. My dad is real lazy and works overtime doing construction work. He calls himself a lifer for the company. He really doesn't try to move up in his job, he doesn't like to deal with people. I think i get the lazyness from both my parents though. My mom says they hung out with all the hippys when they were young. So they are pretty lax on the drug issue.

Peace,
Droz

I wonder if our clans were enemies. Robert the Bruce, the guy in braveheart who's dad is old and gross (the nobleman who betrays mel gibson) is of the Bruce clan (duh).

probably not, the douglass clan was a bunch of scottish patriots who got theyre clan name from a river that was nearby the battle scene, they killed alot of englishmen, so the river became really bloody. so douglass means: dark, bloody river.

Everything is better than it was the last time.  I'm good.

If we could look into each others hearts, and understand the unique challenges each of us faces, I think we would treat each other much more gently, with more love, patience, tolerance, and care.

It takes a lot of courage to go out there and radiate your essence.

I know you scared, you should ask us if we scared too.  If you was there, and we just knew you cared too.
