this is the uncut version. there is a 7th reel that was not included in the original theatrical cuts. a reel is usually about 20min of video.

im debating if i want to head up to NYC to check it out on the big screen. ive seen it already but it was very good.. fuckin intense man.

my girlfriend and I saw it and were not huge fans. It was a neat idea, but wasn't a big fan

TL;DR: In the US, it's unclear. In France, they get a million different versions of the film.

Did you read my 2nd link at all?

The original link was talking about why the last reel was left out of the original theatrical release.
It is NOT talking about whether or not that reel will be on the DVD / Blu Ray.

yeah. the article you posted said he was unsure one way or the other.

the article i posted said that the distributor was unwilling to ship the uncut version because of the film's length.

its definitely not for everyone though.. the trailer doesnt accurately portray what its like.

there is very little dialog.. no traditional narrative structure. there isnt really a defineable conflict and, even if there was, there isnt really any resolution to that conflict.

definitely experimental film.

it has its moments.. and im not really a fan of Paz de la Huerta based on what ive seen of her in Boardwalk Empire but i think she was a really good fit for her role.
