Yes, every native american gets a monthly check from the US government for as long as they live/ hold residence on the reservation. The amount varies based on tribe and what state they reside in

Sure it was awful that wayy back while founding the United States that we launched a war against the people who lived here. But there's nothing that can change that. I dont think that means we are forever in debt to them though

really... so they're paid to stay on a reservation in a land where the
government lets illegal immigrants flow through like the colorado river

The res has their own police force responsible for policing their land

It is pretty ignorant to think that the police turn a blind eye to illegals, at least not in my state. I live in the "show me your papers,"
state.

Really is that why theres gaping holes in the perimeter fence and they got a pathetic amount of border guards, and refuse to beef it up. They leave the desert crossings wide open they dont even patrol them supposedly "the weather is a good enough deterrent"

dont know what grounds a Canadian has to speak about our border security but you have OBVIOUSLY not been down here in the past 5 years. Border security is very tough right now (again, at least in Arizona). We have border patrol check points all over the place and they have beef'd up security drastically over the past 5-10 years. Sure there are places to sneak in, it's a massive border we share. Same way it wouldnt be very hard for anyone to sneak across the border into Canada

Same way it does in every country in the world.

I dont see how you can say anything about our border security when your border is far more open than ours. There is plenty of money in our drug market and people are willing to risk getting caught for the chance to make that money. Simple economics.

The only reason your immigration laws are so strict is so the Transnational Corporations that moved down into mexico and central america cause of NAFTA and CAFTA will have a non-stop influx of cheap workers.

WE welcome immigrants cause were not run by a bunch of money hungry gluttons.

are there a good number of Indian res' in Canada or no? I honestly dont know. I would imagine there would be some, but never heard or cared enough to research it

we have no issues with immigrants, it's those illegally crossing the
borders that we see as a problem, many are criminals in mexico, when you
immigrate legally you are subjected to background checks and health
screens, just look at the rise in violent crimes, crimes against persons
like kidnapping, rape and child molestation in the US, many are hispanics
here without documentation, we've had a rise in diseases that were for the
most part eradicated yet they're coming back through this community of
illegals that are pouring over the borders

not all tribes receive a monthly check and there's not so many colleges which provide free tuition and even the ones that do the government decides cut funding which discourages schools to continue providing free education to natives...

I live here now. You will never have a system to catch 100% of illegals it's just not going to happen. But we definitely have a strong border patrol presence here
